In der Hitze des Sommers annähernd verglüht, unter Regengeprassel korrodiert, von Wind und Wetter deutlich gebeult, mit kristallinem Schneegestöber zauberhaft bekrustet, vom Sturm wie Schilde ins Erdreich geschleudert, allesamt von Sonne, Mond und Sternen lächelnd beschienen. Als liebevoll den Naturkräften „Ausgesetzte“ hatten die Pierickschen Jahreszeitenscheiben jeweils saisonal Zeit, um den Reichtum der Erde im Akt der Begegnung von Zeit, Raum und Materie auf jede einzelne Kupferplatte als facettenreiches Spektrum zu bannen und uns als archaische Kostbarbeit zu spiegeln.
